Krafton has announced the first-ever competitive tournament for the BGMI called “The Launch Party”. This tournament is invite-only. A total of 18 teams are being invited from all over India which consist of famous streamers and content creators.
The launch party is scheduled to take place from 8th – 9th July. The battle will be exclusively live-streamed on Facebook and YouTube’s official channel. The prize pool for the tournament is Rs.600,000 which will be claimed by the team who will show his worthiness and survive till the end.
It’s the first step taken by the developers towards creating a BGMI competitive environment within the country, establishing a brand-new tournament lineup, especially for India.
The 18 teams selected by the Krafton for The Launch Party are the some are famous streams, content creators, some have played in PUBG tournaments and won the tournament, so the list of invited teams are:

As it is the first-ever BGMI tournament hosted by the Krafton the viewership of the tournament will be massive and it will create a sensation among the Indian players and will give them confidence and boost them up to start gaming and compete with others in the upcoming tournaments which will be hosted for BGMI in the coming years. It’s just the beginning of a new adventure, they first started with the famous teams but later on, they may conduct an actual tournament that will focus on teams.
