Krafton, today morning has announced that they are providing data transfer services from the prior PUBG app to the new BGMI app which was launched on 2 July. Earlier there were various speculations relating to the data transfer availability, one of them was in favor of data transfer which relates to the data sharing policy of China apps but at last, the services are being provided as quoted by Krafton “providing data transfer service to safely secure the data of fans from India”.
Important points related to Data Transfer:-
- All PUBG (prior app) will be able to transfer their data to BGMI (new app).
- Data transfer will be implemented only through Facebook/Twitter.
- All the data transfer account are eligible to claim reward of pre-registration.
- In the case of Google Play Games account, Google no longer supports logins through an embedded browser.
- If data transfer is not implemented immediately it will be done before the end date.

End date of Data Transfer :-
- Data transfer will be available till 31st December, 2021.
- Krafton has advised to opt for data transfer before 6th July, 2021 as the will be temporarily suspending the data transfer process.
Earlier BGMI was accused of transferring data to a third party in China but as they released a statement regarding the same so it’s possible that this incident can be the reason behind temporarily suspending the data transfer from 6th July 2021 until further notice.

Making the data transfer available is the second best thing done by Krafton for the Indian players. As I am also a PUBG player so I will definitely like my old outfits, gun skins, vehicles skin which I have gathered by grinding day and night and getting chicken dinner with my squad. According to my, everyone would want the same thing, to get their old form and flow back and again starting winning Chicken Dinners.
